Limits and retention, clearly explained
This isn’t a list of feature slogans—it’s what you should know before using TMPPost. Disposable inboxes and permanent forwarding solve different retention needs, and they differ in data storage and attachment handling.

Status and limitations
Receiving mail doesn’t guarantee every message will arrive
A disposable address and its messages expire when its time limit ends. Do not use one for password recovery or important accounts.
The system may reject oversized, clearly malicious, or policy-violating messages. We cannot guarantee that every incoming message will be retained.
An alias hides your receiving address, but it cannot hide device, network, payment, or account information visible to the website.

Disposable email
A disposable address, its access token, and incoming messages are used only for the current inbox session and are governed by the countdown shown on the page. You can switch addresses or destroy the inbox early; once it expires, recovery is not available.
The page stores a session token on the current device so the inbox can be restored after a refresh. Clearing browser storage removes that device’s credentials for accessing the old inbox.
Forwarding and accounts
Your account email is used to log in and receive forwarded messages. Alias settings remain saved until you delete them; message archives and delivery statuses are retained according to the service lifecycle, normally for up to 30 days.
Limited logs required for security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations may be kept for different periods. See the privacy policy for the full purposes and deletion request process.
Availability limits
TMPPost is provided as is and does not promise continuous availability for any particular sender, network, or time. Maintenance, upstream delivery policies, and security incidents may cause delays or interruptions.
Important communications should use your own long-term email address and backup processes. Disposable email is designed to reduce exposure—not to serve as a permanent archive.
